This is a fun competition held any time during the week to see who can proclaim themselves as King or Queen of the green.

The King/Queen gets to drink from the silver cup during their reign.

The Rules

A challenger must fill the cup and organise a date and format for the match
The challenger gets to choose the format: eg.
- 2 sets for 5 ends with a one end tie breaker if required
- 4 bowls of corner to corner
- 4 bowls drawing to a ditch marker
- Or anything they both agree to
If the King/Queen can’t fulfil their obligations to defend within one week they forfeit the cup to the challenger
